Brodin is actually excellent at acquiring the puck and moving it out of the D zone, and good, though not particularly creative at moving it through the neutral zone and in the O zone. His skating and puck skills are above average. He would score 8-10 more points per year if he played on the PP, but he seldom does, as the Wild have Suter, Dumba, and Spurgeon taking the lion's share of PP TOI.

Not trying to pretend that he is a great offensive Dman, but he is better than many think.

Also not all pumped to get Domi, but realistic. One thing I like about him is that even though he is smaller in stature, he can take care of himself. Wild have had a history of getting pushed around by some of the bigger teams in the Central such as WPG, CO and STL, but that situation is fluid.

Would far rather trade Dumba than Brodin. Not only do I think that Brodin is a more important(though unheralded) player, but MN has more prospect depth at RHD than LHD.
