For as hot as I was hearing Rawly was last night, the 3 in a row that they've just won were against Arizona and two in a row against the Sens. Who the hell doesn't beat the Sens right now? A pee wee team?

i think getting one point tonight officially eliminates the rangers. not that we needed any motivation, just saying

I actually remember on the main board some Rag fan posted a "tank push" thread for the hot second the Rangers played well right after selling. They thought they were going to actually still make the playoffs!

good timing, anyway. i think having maroon and wood in the lineup is a bit redundant, especially against a team like carolina.

Maroon and Boyle in the same lineup I don't particularly like because neither can move. At least Wood can skate

Boyle is on fumes.

Please give me a Devils win and a Flyers loss.

I'd love to jump over Philly so Florida can be their problem.

Philly is at 89 points

Devils are currently at 86.

If Philly loses in regulation and the Devils win, then yes. We are just one point behind Philly.

However, Florida STILL remains our problem because we would not be leapfrogging them(The Flyers).

We have a game in hand vs Philly. Florida has 2. We could both pass them if they lose.

BTW, updated the original post with the lines. I was getting this weird fear that we wouldn't know them until after I left for the game.

true, yeah. but IMO, boyle is on another level of uselessness. i don't expect him to be a factor in our games, and he isn't. maroon/wood though, i guess i have higher expectations

No ****

My statement was a general one. If we can jump the Flyers, Florida's their issue. Let's make that happen.

I don't like the last two lines.

I haven't been a fan of Grabner here, but can't we swap and Coleman? Why is he playing with Boyle and Gibbons and not Zajac and Noesen?

I think Hynes is sticking with what lines worked in the past.

Hall Hischier Bratt
Coleman Zajac Noesen

Grabner and Maroon are interchangeable parts, that is why they were brought in, especially when MoJo and Gibbons were out. I still would like to re-sign both of them. Good depth players to have and they won't hurt you unlike the trash bin of Hayes, Stafford, Lappin etc.

Coleman-Zajac-Noesen have worked well together before, and it seems like we're playing a speed guy on every line so that's why Grabner is where he is.

In fact, the top 3 lines have worked well together in the past, so it seems to make a lot of sense to me.
