The more I watch the replay, the more I think you're probably right.

Krejci was actually looking right at Schenn (so the "Krejci keep your head up" excuse is just wrong) before Schenn makes contact with his head while leaving his feet.

Regardless of whether Krejci is looking or not, the nhl has made it clear that you can’t leap into a guys face to make a hit. Schenn getting two minutes, the same as what Heinen got for a one handed stick tap, is a joke

Both basically say Krejci shouldn't have his head down while the replay shows Krejci basically looking right at Schenn as Schenn makes the hit.

Both guys clearly took too many headshots in their careers.

And rightfully so. The NHL is a reputation league with regard to officiating. Bruins fans can continue to believe otherwise and that's fine. The penalty on Heinen was a joke, tho. The refs should be given a new job title - "On-ice behavior managers"

The penalty on Heinen was a clear make-up call for the Donato goal, imo.
