Your thoughts on Jaylen's Slam Dunk performance. What did you think of the overall contest?

Court was cool, that's about it.

THe whole contest sucks at this point, especially when it features G League guys because actual NBAers don't want to participate.

In the Slam Dunk contest, I thought the points awarded by the judges were inconsistent. Jaylen Brown got too many points for his dunking exhibition. The points awarded to the others were inconsistent, in my opinion. From a viewer's position, it comes down to the degree of difficulty and appearance, height & flow, IMO.

Crazy right? But Larry seems like he stays away from the spotlight and the Celtics stuff. He's very introverted. But seeing him with Tatum and how genuine Tatum was meeting him made me feel good. I feel like that kid gets it.

The C's are such an elite balanced team. Only thing that worries me is multiple players with injuries. Hunt for Banner 18 is real this year .

This story is from January 29th but I just read about it today.

Indiana State Police arrested two-time NBA champion Rajon Rondo on Sunday in southern Indiana on misdemeanor gun and drug charges, police said.

The 37-year-old former guard was initially stopped for a traffic violation in Jackson County, police said in a news release. An investigation began Sunday afternoon after a caller said a black 2022 Tesla was traveling recklessly on I-65 South between Indianapolis and Louisville, the release added.

A state trooper smelled marijuana coming from the car and an ensuing search found a firearm, drug paraphernalia and suspected marijuana, according to the release. The four-time All-Star was taken to the Jackson County Jail where he immediately posted bond and was released. A juvenile in Rondo's vehicle at the time was released to a family member.

Rondo's initial court hearing has been scheduled for Feb. 27 in Jackson County Superior Court.

The Associated Press could not immediately reach an attorney listed for Rondo.

Rondo was prohibited from carrying a firearm because of a non-contact court order that was issued in August. It was the second protective order issued against him.

The initial one came in 2022 when a Louisville woman said Rondo became enraged and threatened her life, according to the protective order. The woman asked a judge that Rondo seek anger management classes, counseling and a mental health evaluation.

That emergency protective order was dismissed in June 2022 after both parties "reached an agreement," according to court records. In March 2023, another EPO was taken out against Rondo by the same woman. That case ended when the sides agreed to the currently binding court order in August.

Rondo started his high school career in Louisville and returned to the state as a star guard with the Kentucky Wildcats. He was a first-round pick of the Phoenix Suns in 2006 and played 16 seasons in the NBA, winning championships in 2008 with the Boston Celtics and 2020 with the Los Angeles Lakers.

And Jaylen who had a great night, scored 31 points and had 6 rebounds but only had 1 assist, also had 4 personal fouls and had 4 turnovers of the teams total of 14 TO's, while playing a team high of 34 minutes while hitting one of two 3 pointers. Great game by a terrific team.
