This is the first time I've ever seen him play and I'm already on board with Chuck's plan to tank for 2023.

He's no McDavid and he's missing some explosiveness, but he's also an immature 15 year old playing against 18 year olds. Prospects this great usually iron out any weaknesses by their draft years.

I'm fairly confident he's the best prospect since McDavid. Maybe I'm premature...or selling Jack Hughes short.

Would you believe him I actually know? I saw someone arguing whether he was worth 2OA if he can't come over until 2026, so I went to watch him. Holy SHIT he's good.

It was tough to come up with some criticism for him, though I have only watched highlight reels.

And yeah I was going to say he's only 15, so if his skating can get even better that's scary. Will be interesting to see him vs Michkov and how MM's KHL contract situation plays out.

Yup. Most of these early "phenoms" are January birthdays like Wright and McDavid. Then you have summer birthdays like Bedard and Crosby dominating guys 3 years older than them.
