The CHL playoffs and Memorial Cup have been canceled. I wonder how this will impact recruiting? Maybe more early announcements?

Being selfish, I reckon it'll be good for us in U Sports. Less chance of a 20 year old having an awesome stretch in the playoffs and catching the eye of the pro scouts at the Mem Cup.

Having said that, it's a major bum wrap. The 'Cats were a heck of a team to watch lately. Not only that but they, and quite a few other teams in the CHL have seriously mortgaged their future (like some do every year, I get it) for no return at all seeing as they never even got a chance to get to the playoffs. Gotta feel for all the 20's finishing their career's like this, and it could very well be careeer altering for a few.

Boys the charter to the East Coast hasn’t left yet. Tours have been postponed but the wheels are down and pending!.. and the Raskle kid at UNB And the 16 forwards already on site at the Drake may be factors.
