Lot of the odd times are because of the US influence on the games. Japan should of told the IOC to shove it and have the marquee events scheduled for their own market's primetime. I think Japan got some on their primetime but not all.

8 PM is great for us, even if it's a 11 AM start in Japan. The rest of the time it was a 2 AM (5 PM JST) start here for the early game.

I generally am not a huge fan of summer olympics but this year has been entertaining. The racing has been fantastic and same with some of the volleyball.

The Judo and Tae Kwon Do finals were ridiculously entertaining. I still much prefer Winter Olympics but this year has been fun! Granted I haven’t watched any of the baseball or basketball lol.

Same story for Andre-- that amazing acceleration coming out of the bend. With 50 meters to go I thought o.k. looks like bronze or maybe silver but at 30 meters to go that relentless stride passes the American and wow a time of 19.62 seconds!--absolutely amazing athlete and so cool under pressure.

Womens soccer final will likely be rescheduled due to both teams having concerns playing mid day in the absolute sweltering heat in Japan.

Canada Soccer, Sweden ask IOC to reschedule women's gold-medal game due to heat (msn.com)

Where it lands nobody knows at this point. Primetime MST was too good to be true. Probably another game that starts at 2am local time

Yup, first we had to endure Abby Wombat, and now Ratatouille. Can the U.S. not find some stars for their soccer program that are at least decent looking? Last good one was Hope Solo.
