Took a crack at what a lineup could look like, I bet other people have a better idea of what it could look like.

If Seider plays in the AHL or even in the NHL will he still play the WJC?
Detroit let Zadina go to the last WJC so I feel like they'll do the same with Seider

Hopefully he does so we can see a powerplay that looks like this:

Not sure if that will in fact be the number one pp unit, there are some interesting other options like Taro Jentzsch or Yannik Valenti. The latter in particular is doing very well on the pp with his one timer. Overall we should have 2 competent pp units for this tournament, and we will need them to perform well, because despite this probably being the best team we've had since the Draisaitl years, they will still be outmatched 5 on 5 almost every game.

I wonder if they will add Reichel to the squad

If he keeps playing the way he has been in the DEL so far, I don't see how they can not have him on the team.

I was down on him last season. After his spectacular performance in a U17 tournament before last season when he even outplayed Stützle, and subsequently being invited to practice with the Eisbären pro team, I expected him to tear up the DNL. But for some reason he seemed to struggle there.

But so far this season he has been better than Peterka. Although I still view Peterka as the superior prospect at the moment and I think if he were on a team that could give him the same ice time as Reichel is getting in Berlin he would play just as well. But if Reichel keeps this up he will close that gap before the end of the season or maybe even the end of the year.

I think its pretty safe to say that there wont be 3 U18 players on the same line
I went with DEL experience and production. Valenti is older then Reichel, but never made a DEL game. Nijenhus has DEL experience but didn't produce anything yet.
Reichel is 5 in 7 games in the DEL now. Germany just does not have that much high end talent to spread it on different lines, so the few proven players will have to eat as many minutes on 1st and 2nd line as they can and hope for 3d-4th lines to at least not screw up

Any chance for Eric Mik and Yegor Alanov? Mik seems to have a good season in DEL2 and Alanov is a good defender in the best swedish junior-league (superelit).

I think Mik is a realistic option. Not so sure about Alanov, because I don't know if he even wants to play for Germany and if he is even eligible.
Could be a situation similar to Nikita Alexandrov.

Bokk, Seider and Stützle are top prospects. This team is going to be a serious threat to anybody. German hockey is developing rapidly, they've got Leon Draisaitl of course, but also Tom Kühnhackl or Dominik Kahun are both top notch players at their position. The game as a whole has grown bigger in the country throughout the recent years. At least that's my impression.

All German games and the final will be streamed for free on Magenta Sport. I hope they or DAZN pick up re-broadcasting rights from TSN or whatever for the other games.

Oh really? That is amazing and all the games on dazn would be even more amazing. Such a big step forward.

Any news on Seider?

Germany will get a great team to the tournament. Sadly they are in the tougher group and it's going to be a battle to advance.
