Impressive, thats starting to look like McDavid kinda numbers.

He might end up with over 100 assists.

Cant recall the last time that happened. Must be Crosby.

The Kings now have 10 draft picks in 2020. They have all of their own draft picks, a 2nd from Vancouver, a 3rd from Columbus (from the Clifford trade), and a 4th from Calgary (for Fantenberg).

#2, #33, #48 (VAN) #64, #85 (CBUS) #95 6 picks in top 100. Maybe they move some to trade up. Of course, the #2 overall becomes the #1 overall in April.

From your keyboard to the hockey god's ears. Adding Lafreniere on top of the current crop of prospects would really help accelerate the restructuring of the team to transition towards a new, younger core.

For years we heard about Detroit being the model organization where the older veterans took the next generation of players under their wing to help groom them to become champions and leaders. Except you need to keep restocking the prospect pool in order to accomplish that, and the Kings have been doing that for two years now.

Soon it will be time for Kopitar, Brown and Carter to do that with Vilardi, Turcotte and whoever they draft in the first round this year.

WOW. By June 26. This will be the future. Will know better after lottery.

1. Lafreniere / Byfield / Stutzle / Drysdale / Rossi
2. Turcotte (stop any hate. Turcotte is awesome)
3. Vilardi
4. Kaliyev
5. Madden
6. Kupari
7. Bjornfot
8. Fagemo
9. Thomas
10. Grundstrom
11. Clague
12. JAD
13. Hults
14. Anderson
15. Spence
16. Durzi
17. Ingham
18. Nousiainen*
19. Moverare
20 Shafigullen
21. Dudas
**

* Nousiainen. Have a feeling he may end up being the best King defenseman of all...or just right there with Bjornfot. Tobias, being an anchor on D and Nousiainen being Lubo 2.0 honestly.

** Add 2020 picks #33, #48, #64, #85, #95 as well. #33 and #48 will be on this list for certain. Marcus Phillips and Austin Strand make most teams top 10, but cannot crack top 20 in LA....and Parik should be on here too, around 15-19.

Hell, if not picking #1, maybe Drysdale would be best. Someone on D needed with vision, wheels, puck moving ability, offensive wizardry, for the Vilardi's, Kaliyev's, Maddens'. Fagemo's, Kupari's....not so much
a reach. Drysdale is legit. Will get bigger. The question would be, "is Byfield, Stutzle, Rossi...clearly the better player and 3 years from now, the better player?" It's super hard to trade for a #1 dman.

If they don't win the lottery to get #1 overall, trade all of them for #1.

Wishful thinking.

The old adage draft BPA rather than need applies here.

The ol Ricky Williams move.

I don't hate it. Especially since we're loaded with depth and need top end...

Maybe they can then have Blake and Alexis recreate this one..

latest Pronman rankings are up on the Athletic. Yanic Perreault's son is ranked 29th on it...Maybe LA can scoop him up in the 2nd round.

Good thing is we locked in 30th almost. Sucks if we drop to 3-5 yet I could see any of Stützle, Raymond, or Drysdale being #2 in a few other more recent drafts.

Stützle and Raymond are also both elite skating, high IQ, line driving, and highly skilled forwards we need. Drysdale imo is better than Byram and most wanted him last yr.

I want Lafrienne or Byfield yet won't remotely shed a tear if we walk away with one of the 3 mentioned.

Pass on Raymond.

Holtz is the better one.

Last season and this season....62 goals in 90 games.....from WJC, SuperElite to SHL. Marcus Naslund in the making.

sounds like if LA doesn't get a top 2 pick they should entertain trading down from like 3-6. I don't know
