That PSG team wasn't mediocre, as the chances in the final show.
Good team but the stars didn't show up and tough to be at your best after playing what 3-4 matches in 5 months?

Didn't you say yourself that PSG had better teams before?

Those of you who watch football regularly tell me as during the last World Cup they said about Mbabbe that he's going to be the next Messi-like superstar has he been worth of that praise during the past two years?
No one is going to come out looking good being a labeled a Messi-like superstar. Mbappe remains one of the best players in the world at a very young age and should still turn out to be one of the very best from his era of playing.

Barca were bad this year. Hostspur were EPL MIDTABLE and Chelsea was ok at best. That's like Federer winning a slam by beating Ferrer Berdych and Roddick...

Chelsea/Spurs were 4/6 in what all the pundits and fans claim is the most competitive league in the world. EPL is overblown IMO, same teams win the last 25 years and all they can do is import foreign players, but everyone pumps their tires. Midtable - lmao... Barca were bad because the manager was out to lunch and didn't know his best team, they win La Liga if they don't have a historic collapse at the end of the season.

So they need to be in the group of death? Bayern is 43-4-5 in all competitions. Dominated possession again tonight. Again, not Bayern's fault Liverpool, Madrid, City, Utd, Juve, etc all disappeared when it mattered. PSG made the final without playing meaningful games is a joke, but even if its somehow true, that says more about their opponents than Bayern.

"Giants". Are they giants if the lose to "lesser" teams? Also - PSG stars did show up, but they got frustrated, and their midfield got neutered after 30m.

I don't care anyway it's obvious most of you only follow the game since 5-10 years probably...

It's always some excuse. Last year we beat Bayern because they "weren't an elite club in Europe anymore." So much for that.

Bayern should have won way more CLs last few years. Most dominant football program last decade. They rigged a few for Ronaldo.

Ironic considering you think 6th in the EPL is mid-table. It's obvious you live off of nostalgia and past glories. If a lesser team beats a greater team then they sucked and weren't deserving, using that to then cheapen the the next opponents victory is pathetic. City couldn't even beat Lyon, but they will give Bayern troubles? All we heard about was the high-line and how dangerous is was to play it, but their basically unbeaten in 2020 with that scheme. To no ones surprise, implement it against P$G, and get a clean sheet.

Anyone saying they weren't elite are dumb, just like the people calling French and German leagues - farmers leagues. Barca wasn't the 2015 version of themselves, but they are still a good side. I won't hear anything about them not being worthy. Imagine saying victories over teams splashing billions to buy titles and world class players, wasn't worthy.

Liverpool were a great team last year and this year, as were Bayern both years.

Mbappe just came off a potentially major injury from a player who was intending to do serious damage against him.

Good point that has been overlooked, in this final at least, when analyzing his performance.

A historic collapse? They were only 2 pts up on Madrid who went on a 10-0 run after the restart, which means Barca only would have won La Liga if they won every game as well.
Barca were pretty bad but that was not a collapse.

Not a collapse, but the lockdown definitely played a part in the league. A top manager and we win that league.

I had read that it was much worst than that, my bad. Still that loss to Osasuna

The reactions here crack me up sometimes. I think people don't realize that an attacker playing well in these finals is brutally difficult. When there's a brick wall in goal it's even harder. We've seen that now three CL finals in a row, and in this case this was also the best team that either team played this season.
