You know - he's just a Honka Honka burnin' love.
He really might wanna see a doctor about that then. Especially if he ever expects to possibly get back to the NHL one day, he'll definitely need to have those doctors papers stating that his Honka love is clearing up nicely and is no longer burning as they were able to catch the spread with prescription strength cream before it spread to other parts of his body.
And I am guessing he didn't have a release note from the doctors in Dallas which is more than likely the true reason for parting ways with that organization. And really, because of Covid, who can blame them? When Honka was hitting the showers after practice I'm guessing he wasn't thinking anything about trying to hide it or. So of course, all of the staff & team mates saw his Honka love when its burn was really noticeable and even more disturbing which sealed his fate. Believing that it was obviously probably contagious, the team acted quickly and released him as they felt that their responsibility was monitoring for burns on the Honksa love for all other employees & staff to contain its potential deathly spread from reaching an ignorant public.
They even shut down the entire facilities mid camp which delayed the Stars season opener because they were so concerned. And much to the great relief of everyone in the organization (especially those who had the signs of a potential burn on a Honka their own love) they were overjoyed when they found out that they actually had contracted Covid-19 on a massive scale instead and that it was sweeping through the locker room. Upon finding out the news that no Honksa anyone's love was currently infected or going to burn off right then, they felt bad about the treatment of Honka though the damage had been done and the bridges (no pun intended) to Honka burned.
Still, the prevailing sentiment was that with how things are in today's world that it was better to be safe than sorry (especially if that sorrow was because you had massive burning coming from around the region on your entire, or even just a Honka ones love) and with so little known about this new potential virus, disease or whatever they figured out what was happening to Honksa Honka's love that they must err on the side of caution. Thus management felt that they had dodged a bullet & were lucky enough that it turned out that pretty much the entire team was positive for Covid when it could have been much more serious.
On a personal note, I think it's commendable that the Stars acted decisively with Honka to get him out of there right away. They were aware of what might happen if they delayed for even a single minute and how that might cause the Honka virus to spread quickly throughout the locker room, putting large chunks of players in isolation and not even having enough to ice a team. Because Dallas didn't try to put him on IR to give them cap space , or because they didn't waiver and instead they were really paying thorough attention to the process of keeping everyone from contracting the Honka virus, the team was able to avoid this embarrassment.
Also the league wouldn't let Dallas place Honka on IR as the policy is clear in that the team must disclose all of the reasons, symptoms and the specific name identifying the specific ailment for which he is being put on IR.
Yet the doctor, in a frazzled state of mind, due to the suddenness, shock, extreme grossness and lack of knowing if Honka is the very first carrier thus it having yet been named, actually did try to place Honka on the IR list. Though the league rejected the request in a formal reply to the team for the reason of:
"not being able to find any research or information on; nor any of the leagues medical experts able to corroborate; or indeed even if such an ailment exists or has ever existed under the given names of 'Hot Wang disease'. Therefore the leagues position is that the burden of proof falls onto the team, and specifically its medical staff to provide said proof of the Hot Wang, how it came to find the Hot Wang, how much evidence, if any shows that the player in question, Mr. Honka does indeed have the Hot Wang, the symptoms to look for with the Hot Wang, and even to turn over the Hot Wang samples which one assumes that you took several. We urge you to move on The Hot Wang quickly...for if The Hot Wang is as big, and could potentially stretch as far as your urgent tone suggests then we must prepare ourselves and get ready, bracing ourselves for the massive impact which the Hot Wang might slam into us as a society. In closing you'll notice that we didn't use the term disease such as you did while identifying the Hot Wang. This is because until you gain more experience with the Hot Wang and are able to share it with us, we simply don't know if it's a disease at all. Or a virus, a sickness or even a tumor like growth which, like a tumor begins small, spongy and unnoticeable; then suddenly springs to life, growing in size while getting more hard as it grows.
Thank you for bringing the Hot Wang to our attention and rest assured that our eyes will now be on the lookout for the Hot Wang diligently and with great anticipation.
We look forward to you bringing us the Hot Wang package (which would include everything we asked for above to prove its nature and impact). We would also like as many pictures and videos of the Hot Wang as you can find in your Hot Wang package.
You have one week to appeal our decision"
Go Honksa!
