Rowe wasn’t the analytics guy, there were two others handling that, and frankly one of them should’ve gotten the job and not Rowe.

But yes, Viola panicked and handed the reigns back to Tallon who then ripped apart the analytics department and any good they might have done. Also, they might be going in with bad analytics folks this go-around so it might be time to just sit back and wait for Sasha Barkov’s contract to expire.
