I'm surprised by how so-so Hedman has looked in a lot of the TB series so far. Is he injured or something?
So-so is charitable of you. He definitely doesn't look healthy.

Seems like they're feeding off Torts right now.... that a great peptalk
Still wouldn't surprise me to see Tampa win the next game and steamroll the next three
What exactly does him being Russian have to do with it?It's hockey not MMA you can't hit someone that's on their knees. There's no point in doing that except to injure. Should be 2 games. Dirty Russian.
Also, the only thing better than watching Tampa lose? Watching the Penguins lose.
Let's see what the league does with this. We all still remember that game 7 Kronwall suspension, right? What exactly does him being Russian have to do with it?
Because Canadians and Americans never play dirty?
No, being on your knees doesn't exempt you from being hit. It might not be clean, the guy throwing the hit might have to answer for it later, but it's not illegal. Don't want to be hit from there? Don't make a play for the puck while on your knees.

I mean, Kucherov was the main reason he was on his knees in the first place. Nutivaara didn't just decide to drop to his knees to play the puck.
I'm re-watching the gif I posted, and I see Kucherov behind the play nearer the end boards and Nutivaara flailing around and attempting to play the puck for quite awhile instead of getting himself up first. If the guy wants to prioritize trying to play the puck over protecting himself, that's his choice and he got rocked partly because of it.
Bettman must want Yzerman in Detroit in time for the draft. The sharks goalie is awful so far. Im suprised they suspended Kucherov. The nhl has a history of not doing that.

Bigger hockey market than Detroit? Alrighty then...The league won't do anything, Tampa is a bigger market with more marquee players.
Nothing, inside joke because I'm an Ovy fan. That's the narrative whenever he gets suspended. What exactly does him being Russian have to do with it?

He is crushing it right nowMan I still love watching Mrazek play. Shame it didn't work out here, but when he is on, he is one of the most entertaining goalies on the planet.

Was a good trade for both teams. Said it when it happened, still feel the same way.Jensen is playing a good game today, good to see
That's how I feel about it tooWas a good trade for both teams. Said it when it happened, still feel the same way.
That and it was good for both players involved. That's a rarity in pro sports for a trade to work out for everyone. That's how I feel about it too
