I'm on the Turcotte hype train as well, but there's fierce competition in the top 3. After Hughes and Kakko, you can make arguments for Turcotte, Newhook, Byram and Cozens right now.

Certainly looks like he'd have the best chance at challenging him. He a manlet doe, maybe he slips and we get him in a Pacioretty deal.

Newhook already on the rise and he hasn't played a game since last May !

Actually going to buy season tickets to watch Newhook rewrite the Grizzlies record books. Hope the Habs get Newhook, Hughes or Cozens, Center position would be a strength for the 1st time in 25yrs.

Besides Hughes, I can't say that any other centers are franchise altering as of right now. I'd rather have a Jamie Benn over a Sean Monahan despite Monahan being a center.

True, but taking the Habs in perspective, at this time at least, Hughes we know will be franchise altering but Turcotte, Dach and Newhook would be also IMO.

Kakko would high on my list, but right this moment, I think I’d take one of those 4 first if they were on the board when we pick. Obviously, a lot can change in the next 11 months.
