He failed a physical by not being able to put a helmet on. (y'know, the place where he had a benign tumor removed recently) When has that ever been part of a physical? Seems convenient.

His contract wont toll this way. Synder is such a ****ing turd.

This might be a special case because of the growth on his head.

The Browns have a player who started threatening to fight a local media guy and various fans over Twitter and Instagram. He was doing this mere minutes after the game ended. Not everyone was even dressed, and he's there ending his career via his phone.

Jermaine Whitehead missed a tackle and is pissed about people giving him shit for it online.

Eagles have brought back Jordan Matthews for a third round. Meanwhile, 2nd round pick JJ Arcega-Whiteside can't get on the field. That's a huge sunk cost for a team that's trying to win.

JJ dropped some passes early. In the Detroit game the throw at the end of the game hit him right in the hands.

Mathews is not a speed guy which is what Philly needs to replace Jackson.

Washington's remaining schedule is Jets, Lions, Panthers, Packers, Eagles, and Giants.

No elite Defence in that group. So, it's fine to send the kid out there to get some game experience. He came into the NFL with 14 college starts. Similar to Trubisky and Sanchez who were also 1 year college starters.

At one point, Washington had Buffalo, New England, San Fran, Chicago, Minnesota in a span of 7 games with Miami and NYG sandwiched in between. So, the top end D part of their schedule over.

This just seems stupid beyond belief. Why do teams do this? Accept your 2-14 season and don't expose your (hopefully) franchise QB to the carnage.

It's the Redskins, that's why. And Snyder probably wants to see more of what he has in Haskins since there are new shiny QBs he might be able to draft this upcoming draft. The Cardinals gave up on Rosen to get Murray so that gives him even more ammunition to do it if he wants to since he can now point to precedent.

Kid needs reps. 1 year college starter. Did urban open the entire playbook to him? Probably not.

might as well get the live reps in when the results are not going to impact your playoff chances. They won’t be playing an elite suffocating defence like the 2018 Bears.

Going forward against GB, Bal and NO after watching the tape Shanahan should expect man coverage and 8 in the box. Whoever they have to catch the ball has to beat man coverage and make the catches. Some quality secondary players on those teams.

Didn't he turn coaches and teammates against him?

I seem to recall him not being well liked in Cleveland and no one missing him when he left

Didn't he and his agent try to dictate how he would be used and had him sit out a game he was healthy under guise of being sick?

Maybe I am confusing him with someone

Jets gonna Jets.

I wouldn't put 100% stock in it. 99%? Sure, because as you said, Jets gonna Jets. But, in the grand scheme of things, I can' 100% buy into even the strongest public assurances when there are 7 games left in the season.

Trashbisky started 12 games his rookie year FWIW, he was also a 1 year college starter.

Now look at him

The Browns waived Calloway. This is surprising. He was a guy they drafted in the 4th round with the "he has first round talent" talk. Well, they got him there because he has major problems staying out of trouble, and the Browns are already done with him after one season and a couple of games.

Calloway has some amazing speed, but he's a serious head case.

Eagles have signed Jay Ajayi. What a strange ride.

Corresponding move was putting Darren Sproles in IR, and certainly sounds like that it is the end for him.
