Sure seems like AB won't miss games unless Goodell puts him on the exempt list.

Shocker. Josh Gordon had been suspended indefinitely and for a whole year but somehow his latest failed drug test only got him like 6 months. Crazy what playing for the Patriots can do for you.

No reason to put him on the list IMO, there is no hard evidence against him and it could be another athlete extortion case.

Tom Brady was suspended 4 games for a sham investigation. Your point is?

Hell baby
Only an absolute clown of a human would want to see Josh Gordon suspended further for battling addiction

Thats not why. It just does not make any sense to sign a guy who hasn't played competitive football in 3 years. Thats painfully obvious. Doesn't matter who the person is.
over half the backups in the league haven't played competitive football in 3 years, maybe more than half

IIRC the NFL told him if he sought treatment, specifically for his mental health issues, they wouldn't suspend him. You will attempt to say its because of who employs him but maybe they realized consistently suspending him is just going to make things worse, and cause more depression for him. Eventually they realized they should actually try to help him with his problems, not punish him. Typically people won't change if they are punished because they naturally want to rebel and say F U to the establishment. When you actually help people, they tend to listen to you and follow the rules.

Not sure if this is true, but even if it is, at least they have been apart of team practices, scrimmages, workouts and pre season.

Oh so they made up rules for the Patriots on the fly. Wow, color me surprised.

Or maybe - just maybe - the NFL has finally realized their archaic way of dealing with + punishing players does not work anymore. Mental health has become a huge issues in the world recently and they are trying to get ahead of the curve, unlike with CTE where they paid the price. Lets say Gordon were to tragically kill himself in 5 years, many would point to the NFL for not helping him with his mental health and doing everything to make it worse.

for sure
but I'd prefer the guy who has seasons and seasons of actual NFL game experience vs. practices.

[mod] That's not how it works in a competitive sport with rules in place to keep an even playing field. The rules state first failed test you miss so many games. Then it gets higher and higher until you are kicked out the league. That's how it works. You don't get to have preferential treatment towards one player. As sad as it is Gordon shouldn't be in the league, end of story. What about all the players not in the league right now for drugs/mental health or whatever you want to call it. Are they getting all these chances like Gordon? No because the Patriots didn't trade a 5th round pick for them. You don't get to pick and choose when to apply rules.

Can't say i don't feel for Rosen. There looks like there's talent there, but he's gotten like zero chance to showcase it.

Maybe DeMarcus Lawrence will mercy kill him on Sunday.

Amazing diss by an obviously cranky Eagles fans, but an even better response by Agholor. Class through and through.

Agholor is dating this broad

The Broncos have 0 sacks.

One of the more surprising things so far this season. I think most people expected them to be bad after yet another mistake at QB but a team with Von and Chubb coached by Fangio having no sacks or turnovers through three weeks is crazy.
