I was just poking fun at bleed. I'm happy they looked good at this so far. I have high expectations for the three even if they don't live up to them. These exhibitions are nice and good to see them look well right now but like bleed said, I just hope it's a means to them making the team.
Exactly.
As far as those highlights go, if you’re using Drury’s goal as a sign of development...you might actually want to watch that highlight again. That was awful! I’m not picking on the kid at all, right place right time which is his calling card but man....that goalie gets the lowlight of the year on that one. Gunlers shot was sweet but we know he can shoot.

Yeah, highlights are highlights. They are usually the best plays and parts of a guy's game as we all know. I'd rather guys produce than not but opportunity, style of play compared to what is necessary of NHL players, and level of competition are all important context. The highlights are great but hearing that a guy stands out every shift and is a buzzsaw, in addition to production, like Rees is where it's really at.

Hey, it's Monique!

Her first starring role was a hidden gem of a movie. Her second was an all-time classic. It was all down hill after that.

Ah, the commercial where a woman is walking down the street eating directly out of a pint tub of peanut butter, muttering "mmmmm I love peanut butter" to herself, then picks up a man off the streets after eating some half-chewed chocolate he threw in her tub of peanut butter.

The 80s were a hell of a decade.

The Finnish 80's classic for a chocolate bar:

"The girl knows there's some candy bar to be had behind the wall."

Wall's been an utter beast to start the year. 3 goals in 3 games, with a beautiful breakaway tonight. Even if he becomes our Kevin Hayes or Jimmy Vesey, if he keeps up such play over the next year, he could end up being worth way more than the late 6th that we used on him if we act early. Best case, though, we sign him. I obviously expect some regression to this pace, but he's legitimately skilled and I can see him being a monster in college.

Kid is crazy, 8 shots last game and he is at 8 shots after 2nd period. For context: The entire other team has 9 shots, and they are winning..

Edit: Wall gets a primary assist with solid forecheck and beautiful set up.

Ponomaryov gets the game winner and the assist for Shawinigan in a 4-3 win vs. Victoriaville. His behind the back pass on that first goal was sick as f***, too, and IMO the highlight of the night.
If you follow that twitter link he made the same exact pass past year and they show it below today’s goal. It’s on the highlight clip in his draft thread too.

Both times the goalie had no idea.

Surprised I haven’t heard a peep about Luke Henman. But he’s got 14 pts in his first 6 QMJHL games this season. That’s a nice start.

I'm pretty sure that the Canes renounced his rights. There was an unusually high amount of non-signees league-wide this year due to COVID uncertainty. I would not be shocked, though, if Carolina circles back to him after the madness settles, though, at least with an AHL tryout contract.

Not renounce (technically) I'd guess. The exclusive rights on him expired after two years on Jun 1, or when the hell ever the expiry date was this year.

In which case he was eligible to be picked in this year's Entry Draft, but no one did.

I guess because he only wants to play with Rangers.

But Drury's rights are still owned from the same 2018 draft right? Hopefully he signs at some point.
