No no no no and no to Petrovic

Bruins need to recall one of Zboril/Vaakanainen/Lauzon and give them a look. I know they love their LHD/RHD pairings, but they should be getting every look they can at these guys; especially Zboril/Lauzon.

Hoping it's Zboril....his turn!

So tired of Ritchie. Assuming Coolman is ready he will start in Providence. Call up Zachary and please end Ritchie experiment.

Others have said it, Heinen is not working at RW. Ritchie is just not working.

Immediate option
DeBrusk - Krejci - Bjork
Heinen - Coyle - Senyshyn

When Kuhlman is healthy, have him replace whoever is not working.

edit: i'd be okay with atleast Backes going in for Ritchie next game.

edit 2: no i wouldnt, they need to make a change that affects the 2nd line, currently its 9/10 shifts they are stuck in their own zone.

I agree but how well do they do on their off side, while also having to adjust to the speed of the NHL?

EDIT: Looks like it’s Lauzon

Hell baby
Debrusk-Bergeron-Pastrnak
Marchand-Krejci-Bjork
Heinen-Coyle-Kuhlman
4th line

Also I think Marchand-Coyle-Heinen played together for a little bit and dominated as far as chances for/chances against go

Then when you really need a goal you send Marchand-Bergeron-Pasta over the boards

I'm guessing we find out by practice this morning if they plan on calling anyone up. My fear is all we see if someone sit for Ritchie. But here is hoping some infusion of energy.

Edit: It's the Mom's road trip, now I'm more convinced they dont make changes for the next game.

No call ups (disappointing).
Bjork with Krejci (good, think he and DeBrusk should swap)
Ritchie (bad)

Nordstrom not skating

edit: Bruins official Twitter shows Bjork on the right

If Sweeney cant workout a trade

What will be the lines?

I have

Marchand Bergeron Pasta
Debrusk Krejci Kuhlman
Heinen Coyle Bjork
Nordy Kuraly Wagner
Lindholm

Chara Mcavoy
Krug Carlo
Grz Moore
Lauzon Clifton

Would like to get a longer look at Senyshyn, Frederic, Gaunce if possible

Yeah, just keep going as is, shift around the middle 6 wingers as needed. That being said, there's no way they don't make a trade, even if it's something super underwhelming there will still be some kind of change-up thrown into the middle 6.

This is a purely hypothetical question, but if the Bruins were to play a game against themselves, which line do you think would be more likely to win the following matchup:

Nordstrom - Kuraly - Wagner
Vs
Frederic - Studnicka - Senyshyn

1st one.

Don't know if a single guy on the 2nd one can score at the NHL level yet. High hopes for Studnicka but all three in the 1st line have proven to be better scoring at the NHL level than 2/3rds of the 2nd line.

One line has no offence and the other probably has no defence (inexperience), so it's probably going to end in a draw. Their current 4th line as constructed isn't designed to win matchups. They are mostly used as a sacrificial line taking d-zone starts trying to contain their opponents for the 30 seconds to a minute they are out there. That kid line would probably get blown out of the building with similar usage.

Bjork Coyle Kuhlman (Ritchie on 4th)

Apparently Ritchie and Kase had chemistry in the land of Ducks.

Which do you choose?

I think its starts this way (Sweeney mentioned Ritchie with Coyle).

Marched-Bergeron-Pasta
DeBrusk-Krejci-Kase
Ritchie-Coyle-Bjork
Nordstrom-Kuraly-Wagner

Sweeney mentioned call ups from Providence. Isn't there a limit on the amount of call ups posted trade deadline? But i expect Kuhlman, Studnicka, Senyshyn to all get some games down the stretch. I also expect every combination of wingers to be tried in the middle 6.

Ritchie - Krejci - Kase
Debrusk - Coyle - Bjork
Nordstrom - Kuraly - Wagner (Lindholm and Kuhlman as extras)

Same D core and same goaltending

Ritchie and Kase apparently complemented each other really well together in their time in Anaheim so I'd like to see what they could do with a center like Krejci who has a history of playing well with big boys. As long as Ritchie stays disciplined, it's worth a shot for a couple games. I also am not a believer that Debrusk and Krejci work well together. I just think that 3rd line is perfect if the 2nd line meshes. 4th line is any jumble of 5 players. Definitely can try a few things in the mean time (maybe swap Bjork and Ritchie).
