I know we will probably not see the top line broke up. If we were going to change things up and spread the weath through the line up I would love to see this.

Marchand-Bergeron-Bjork
Heinen-Krejci-Pastrnak
Debrusk-Coyle-Senyshyn
Kuraly-Frederic-Wagner

Get.Coyle.off.2RW. He's not at his most effective on the wing, the Wild fans were/are right about this.
I did want to see a 10 game stretch with Coyle on Krejci's wing, for a loaded top 6. It seems like now may be the best time as Lindholm can center a more traditional checking third line with Senyshyn on his right.

I am not tied to this, but I don't mind Coyle on the RW now. I only mind if he is switching back and forth every game or two.

I like this lineup, except for inserting Frederic as fourth-line C. He hasn't done anything to deserve a promotion, and he certainly shouldn't supplant Nordstrom (or even Lindholm) on the fourth line, to say nothing of knocking Kuraly out of the C position.

I really liked the Bjork-Coyle-Senyshyn line and want to see Cassidy go back to it. BTW I do agree with you about switching Coyle back & forth, I think that would just mess with his head.

I really like Krech on line 1, and Bruce has always played them as an offensive unit so I think it makes more sense. Maybe let Bergeron go back to his older role.

Marchand Krejci Pastrnak
Debrusk Bergeron Heinen
Bjork Coyle ???
Nordstrom Kuraly Wagner

Kuhlman or Senyshyn work for ???, but after stealing Coyle Sweeney shouldn't be shy to trade... wonder if something around Frederic+pick for Anderson or Wood could happen?

playing with 63 and 88 has got to be easier on Bergeron than carrying line 2.

I like this but I would flip DeBrusk for Coyle because he seems more active defensively and I would play this line against the top line as often as possible.

Edit I had meant to write DeBrusk for Bjork not Coyle. Didn’t want to edit inline.

On the road with last change the opposition would match their 3rd and 4th line with yhis one whenever possible but they should be able to contribute points in those matchups. Bergie is a shooter it would need to shoot more wigh these two.

It’s interesting we look at the iconic duo as Bergeron & Marchand

but maybe it’s really Pastrnak & Marchand

At least now

Bergeron is the maestro those two are creative hockey geniuses

I don't want to overreact to a couple of games, but how do we feel about giving an extended look to Studnicka at 3C and Coyle at 2RW when Bergeron returns?

Marchad-Bergeron-Pastrnak
Debrusk-Krejci-Coyle
Bjork-Studnicka-Heinen
Nordstrom-Kuraly-Wagner

If it works out, it should be easier to rent a 3C for the playoffs than adding a long term 2RW.

let him go down to providence again and force your hand. Keep looking for a 2RW/3C rental.

I like this, why not have a kid come in and elevate and perform, other teams have done it. He is responsible and better than any other center we have seen from Providence in the last few years. Coyle has proved he can adapt and excel at wing. This could be a really good lineup. I think Jake and Krech would love having a guy like Coyle with size out there.

Not impressed with kreider yet again, he did nothing on his won, no speed no drive, nothing. He was very meh, Frederic like out there. If we say Celly needs to show even if he is on a bad line than why does Kreider get a pass. Coyle can be that winger and its inhouse. We have to pay Krug and a few other guys next year. We keep our picks and maybe go shopping in summer, when we can get rid of a few other plugs killing our cap.

With Moore, Miller, Backes, soon Ritchie, Senny and Coolman? Something has to give.

Bruins like to make big trades prior to deadline ... the time must be near.

Heinen/ Nordstrom/Backes /Lindholm/ Ritchie/Kuhlman/Moore/ Miller/AHL prospects
Sweeney has a lot of options to move in a trade to help the Bruins.
I truly believe they need a 2nd line Right Wing and perhaps another top 4 defenseman with size.

Can I just say I hate the line of DeBrusk - Krejci - Pastrnak.

It didn't work last season. It didn't work in the playoffs when they tried it. I couldn't believe people were asking for it at the start of this season... Pasta went from scoring a goal every game with Marchand to getting only 1 goal in his last 4 games and that came off a pass by Bjork.

DeBrusk is a hard cat to play with, and he and Pasta just don't jive.

I hate it even more

In the last 3 years in trying this experiment, it has failed

there is near zero chemistry

Now you replace Debrusk with Marchand, and all of a sudden Krejci and Pastrnak have chemistry

But Sweeney and Cassidy won't try this as Marchand and Bergeron are linemates for life

Lineup should be

Marchand Bergeron Pasta
Debrusk Krejci Senyshyn
Bjork Coyle Heinen
Wagner/Nordstrom Kuraly Studnicka

Chara McAvoy
Krug Carlo
Grz Clifton

This team is really bad 5 vs 5(scoring). The system is there for players to flourish offensively.

But can you really expect guys like Nordstrom, Backes, Lindholm to flourish?

I really liked from what I saw with Senyshyn and Studnicka debuts this season. More jump, more skills, more stamina

Team can't score since last season. Sweeney needs to fix this asap

We need a bit of a change up

Marchand - Bergeron - Bjork
Heinen - Krejci - Pastrnak
Debrusk - Coyle - Senyshyn
Nordstrom - Kuraly - Wagner

1st line has gone cold
Debrusk - Krejci tandem has never been consistent
I like the idea of Debrusk - Coyle duo with Senyshyn on the right.

I like this a lot. I also think Jake and Krech have been 2 guys on the ice at the same time playing different games. Jake drives the net and sometimes does something. If Jake scores it usually on solo efforts or the PP. Krech slows it down and circles, looking for stationary guys for a one timer (Kovalchuk comes to mind). Pasta would love to be feed by him and Heinen.

Bjork will give the top line a shot in the arm it needs. He never quits on the puck and Marshy may actually get it more from him vs Pasta. Seny was about to break out but bad luck with the injury. Forth line stays the same, everyone wants to tinker with it. It is what it is a checking line that can PK, not a scoring line.

See what sticks.

That's by far the best looking line I've seen. I look at this and I can't believe how good the top 9 could be. Let's do this Bruce !!!
