I know some worry about the lack of goals or offense but the Avs defense is and has been at the top of the league. Only two NHL teams have allowed fewer goals than the Avs have. Even with these injuries the d has held its own. Yeah its a little boring but its what you will most likely see deep into a playoff run.

Hopefully it's not a big deal and they're being hyper sensitive to something that's nagging him. Two games between Detroit and Anaheim in five days is a good time to be cautious.

Crossing my fingers we have Makar and Burakovsky both back for the next road trip.

These vague injury reports are getting pretty silly if you ask me. If a player has a shoulder injury just say so. Just saying an upper body injury is not going to change anything. If another team wants to target the player to re-injure him they will just target the upper body anyway.

As for the length of the rehab why keep that secret. Why piss off your fanbase by keeping them in the dark?
