Hughes D2D prolly means just that. Yamamoto was D2D and I think he missed a total of 2 games? I bet we don't see Cale until the playoffs lol.

Not me. I think he’s done for another week or so. He’ll get injured again when he returns. He’s a bandaid just like Rantanen.

Who knows. I missed the Preds game, too. He was in warmups against the Dead Things. It’s frustrating when the same guys are hurt. I play hockey myself and there is a few guys on the team who are always hurt.

I remember hearing a story about Semin when he was with the Caps. He always seemed to get hurt just before Christmas. His teammates noticed this and wondered why. I’m not saying Makar or Rantanen are like this, but I think some players are.

Answered my own question: Head coach Jared Bednar relayed that Grubauer (lower body) should return around mid-March, Ryan S. Clark of The Athletic reports.

It was late, but those hits happen all the time so...meh.

Cale did get skewered by Brown the game before the Nashville one. That's the only thing I can recall because he looked great in that Nashville game. Didn't take a hit from what I could recall.
