watched some of Khisamutdinov today, man is that a small rink. He played a regular shift at RW, didn't do too much but ended up 2 shots, 1 hit, 13:43 TOI. It's his highest TOI since playing 7 more seconds in mid Dec and had he played 8 more seconds it would have been his highest TOI since early October.

Romanov officially surpasses his points total from last year. He had 4 pts (1G, 3A) in 53 GP. This year he has 5 pts (all assists) in 43 or 44 GP (I forgot how many he's played so far.

Christ he's a beauty. If KK still ends up the best player we pick from that draft we'll be in pretty good shape.

looks like they really balanced the pairings out this time as well, as Romanov had 16:25 one of his highest TOI's of the season but aside from Nesterov's 18:41 the other 6 D all played between 15:05 and 16:53. Romanov had the 4th most TOI by 3 seconds which I believe only happened once before this season and it was right before the WJC's.

Patrik Bexell says Olofsson re-injured his shoulder (same as a month ago) and is awaiting results.

Norlinder is also out with an undisclosed injury.

- Oshawa is tied 2-2 right now in the 3rd period. McShane with a goal (20th) and an assist so far.

- Everett is up 3-1 on Spokane in the 2nd period. Fonstad with two goals, his 11th and 12th of the season.

nice goal. Last few highlights I've seen he looks pretty impressive.

Fonstad needed to get the goal scoring going, after a slow start he's up to 12 goals and 9 of them have come in the last 21 games.

so,

first 22 games, 3 goals
next 21 games, 9 goals

he's proven he can score a bit with 21 in his draft year and 29 last year. I know he's more of a playmaker since as of the other day he was only 2 assists away from the WHL leader, but you have to be able to put the puck in the net every now and then so good to see that part of his game picking up.

He has had a strong season ever since the trade, as he's a good bit over an assist per game and has 48 pts in 34 games (1.41 ppg)

Sucks for Olofsson....ends his season already with an injury. But he was not a prospect we were waiting for soon anyway.

Didn't see the game since it was on at 4:30 am but Romanov once again played in a top 4 role with 16:00 TOI. Nesterov didn't play but still surprised he had the 4th most ice.

Norlinder didn't dress for today's game as I was planning on watching if he did, guess he is not ready to return just yet, perhaps next game.

I then had the chance to finally watch a game of Dichow but of course it was a game he didn't dress. He's the last prospect I have yet to see play a game, just don't feel like paying to see him, maybe later on in the season.

Ylonen's team got smoked 6-0, ouch.

Hillis with 2 assists tonight, up to 63 pts, he's 7th OA in the OHL in assists with 45, 2 more and only 3 players would have more then him.

Romanov with what I believe is a career high in TOI today, 20:03 but what's even crazier is that if he played 23 seconds more he would have led the team in TOI. They have some injuries as their top D in Nesterov is out and another top 4 D in Matt Robinson. The bad news is that he was a -3 in a 4-3 loss.

Struble was in on NU's 3rd goal, not sure if he will get an assist or not but he did pass the puck into the offensive zone. NU up 3-1 in the 2nd in a big game over Providence.
