Martin Braithwaite to Barca. What a weird transfer.
This transfer probably relegates Leganes.
Martin Braithwaite to Barca. What a weird transfer.
Nothing ridiculous about itSuch a ridiculous situation.
No matter how you slice it, a smaller club at the end of this will be screwed. Will Leganes get a chance to replace Braithwaite? Suarez got hurt in January, and Dembele has a pretty long injury history, so they should've done their business in January. They knew the situation they were in.Nothing ridiculous about it
Like i said its standard practice emergency injury signings happen. Mind you this does nothing for barca just a waste of money. He will barely get a sniff of footy. Just because it's legal, doesn't mean it's not ridiculous.Like i said its standard practice emergency injury signings happen. Mind you this does nothing for barca just a waste of money. He will barely get a sniff of footy. Those are the rules tho.
It's bullshit is what it isMartin Braithwaite to Barca. What a weird transfer.
Also very true. It's bullshit is what it is
How's it ridiculous injury ridden teams need an outlet. It make sense.Just because it's legal, doesn't mean it's not ridiculous.
Barca had an entire window to deal with it. Is Leganes going to get an extension now? Are they just going to have to suffer relegation because Barca can come in and pay a release clause for a player that isn't anywhere close to their quality. How's it ridiculous injury ridden teams need an outlet. Barca can just call up a youth player to sit on the bench when needed.
Again, Suarez was hurt prior to the window closing, Dembele has a long injury history, this was just bad planning by Barca by not having proper depth. They have more than enough players in youth that they could call up, they have players are loan that they could've brought back in January. Turan's loan deal was terminated.Dembele got hurt after the window closed. These emergencies signing are for injuries
He looked very good cutting in from the left yesterday.Sounds like Werner will go to Liverpool if he’s comfortable not being an outright starter. Will still get plenty of games. I’m very into this, though it still seems unlikely.
Just because it's legal, doesn't mean it's not ridiculous.
Arguments by calling to authority are just so lazy.Preach, how I wish more people would realise this in real life as well
THe injury that lead to the emergency signing was Dembele. Hence "emergency" Barca running out of players up front. A 17 year old has played way way too much. So, its acceptable. That would be a better option considering they bought a useless player but the rule makes sense.Again, Suarez was hurt prior to the window closing, Dembele has a long injury history, this was just bad planning by Barca by not having proper depth. If you know you are 1 injury from an "emergency" while the window is open, and you know you have a player with a long injury history, one that has already had a lengthy injury this season, then you should sign a player in that window as insurance.
The point is, the rules are ridiculous, and it's naive to believe that they would be applied equally to all clubs. On top of that they sold a forward that could've been used now. However, a team being dumb doesnt change the rules. They're in place for a reason.
Point is they're implemented for a reason. And it's presumptuous of you to think it wouldnt. The point is, the rules are ridiculous, and it's naive to believe that they would be applied equally to all clubs.

They could tho if they have an injury crisis. Which the rule statesAnd it's not ridiculous that Leganes can't sign a replacement...
