It's too bad they can't sue him. How great would it be to see Hak's stupid face in the defendant's chair sitting across from an army of hockey goaltenders. You now what's nuts? None of them worked their goalies like Hakstol did. Remember when I went through several years of starts from every starting goalie and saw how many played stretches like, say, 4 games in 6 nights with a back to back and no holiday/league mandated break?
There were only a handful of goalies who saw that usage over the course of several years. Most of them had breaks. Those who didn't became injured with the lone exception of price. No team was repeating such things annually like Hakstol was.
Hakstol was an outlier in terms of how awful he was at handling goalies.
Yes, somehow he got Neuvirth injured (breathed on him?), Lyon injured in August before training camp, Stolarz injured in the AHL.
Unfortunately he couldn't figure out to get Mrazek injured.
He was a one of a kind idiot. His coaching incompetence was unparalleled. You now what's nuts? None of them worked their goalies like Hakstol did. The Flyers PP is 5th in the leagueAnd yet, as stupid as Hakstol was, somehow he never managed to **** up the top PP unit.
Every night in the NHL there is some kid from Frost's draft class helping his team. Kids who don't have the resume Frost has the past two years. Suzuki scores a goal tonight. Cody Glass is racking up points on the third line at wing. Robert Thomas already won a Cup, scoring 33 points for the Blues getting 13 minutes a game. Texier is getting 16 minutes a night.
Neither Bunnaman nor Raffl can handle center. Pitlick sucks too.
Hagg should be the No. 9 defenseman. This is just poor player evaluation at this point.

NoPa for 3c and Laughton to 4C!I'd like to see Ruby up for the 4th line center spot.
NoPa for 3c and Laughton to 4C!
We deserve good things!
JVR/Patrick/Farabee
Laughton/Ruby/Raffl
That would be a nice bottom six right now.
I don't think AV will go full Laughton to 4LW before he sends him to 4C first. But if Twar gets send down I could see it.JVR/Patrick/Farabee

Playing him at all dispels the "far better usage" notion. One thing that is neat about AV is that he's giving Hagg far better usage instead of exposing him out of a delusional belief that he's good at defending. That's a flexibility that has lacked.

The sniper the Flyers need but don’t deserve.
