Well Kovalenko went in 6th round and if somebody watched Loko game and was told one guy went 15th, and the other in the 6th round, plenty of people would mix him and Denisenko places.

Happy to see Kovalenko playing well! Earning time in the KHL isn't easy and having another year over there, it is good to see it isn't likely to hinder him.

I mean, it would be very nice to have a capable 2nd line winger on an ELC that could immediately help in two years...but that seems like a tall ask.

He'll join the Avs for sure unless we trade his rights before his contract with Loko is up. I think a somewhat reasonable projection is a 3rd liner who can chip in offensively. What I hope for is a good 2nd line winger.

I'm becoming more and more convinced that every player we got in the Duchene trade will be a key piece on the team at some point.

• Girard is already a top pair guy
• Kamenev will emerge this year or next as a good player (in order to fit with this prophesy)
• Bowers will be a good player
• Byram will be a star for us
• Annunen could be our future starter
  
• Now Zhuravlyov is looking good
  
• Finally, Andrew Hammond will retire and join our organization in some capacity - maybe as the goalie coach who helps turn Annunen into a star.
