Leafs put Harpur Schamltz Aberg and Gaudet on waivers today.

Didn’t Harper & Gaudet both get into fights this pre season? Of course they’re not making the team, that’s against Babcocks rules.

Yea I’m sure that’s why they were cut. It had nothing to do with the fact that multiple other players were just much better.

Don't know if hes ready for nhl minutes, but Turgeon going on waivers is a bit surprising. Especially for a rebuilding team. Can any Wings fans provide context? Maybe he hasnt developed as well as I had hoped.

He won't be claimed. No one is gonna waste a contract spot on a 23yo 20 point AHL scorer at this point when there are better options being waived.

He's a defensive forward who's offense never developed. He did have some impressive games/shifts in pre-season, and had some nice looks. I think any Detroit fan would rather keep him on the 4th line over Abdelkader and contract.

Looks like Yzerman is keeping Christopher Ehn on the roster over Turgeon... maybe he likes Ehn's last name better, or think he has slight more offense, or simply because he has more NHL experience. Personally, I like Turgeon better. Maybe I'm just biased.

Martel was claimed off waivers at this time before, so there's history. I know there's a few injuries hitting teams too. I think we'll see a claim tomorrow or the next day.

Grammar would relate to some rule, this is just misspelling an athlete's name.

As for Hudon, he didn't play most year. He gets a lot of chances but van't seem to be able to buy a point
