Great shift for Broberg just now, probably his best at even strength so far. Held the point well, made a nice stretch pass, and finished the shift walking into a big slapshot.

Always have. Just a lot more picky on what counts. That goes for first assists as well. A lot of helpers that would be counted in the NA leagues aren't in Sweden.

I only watched a couple of his games last year but, yeah, this was head and shoulders above any of that. His confidence is clearly a lot higher than last season.

That’s what happens when you play well in multiple scrimmages against NHL level competition. Oilers did a good job developing his confidence.

3 on 3 on big ice is absolutely terrifying to watch if you’re a fan of either team, btw.

Broberg was definitely one of the few highlights for Skellefteå AIK. This was actually one of the worst 5 on 5 performances I've seen in years from the team. Could have something to do with the fact that it was a 9 hour bus ride to Leksand yesterday, and we usually fly to 24 out 26 away games. since we're the second most northern team in SHL.

But Broberg has definitely elevated his game from last year.
