I’d do it...resign Stone, he’s better than Willie anyhow.
Matthews with Nylander also isn't fair. No.Stone with Matthews wouldn't be fair.
No offense, but that's about as dumb a move as we can make. A colossal waste of assets.
Your premise seem to be that with those two rentals, we'll win the cup. It doesn't work like that. People that have put a lot of research into that question talk about how even the best teams don't have more than 10-15% chance of winning the cup. There's too much parity, too much that can go wrong.
If Stone, Duchene and Gardiner all walk at the end of the year we could afford it.No and we do not have 13m and change to spend. We need to keep almost 5m to bay for this years bonuses as we can not afford to carry them forward as we up against the cap as it is. We have a little over 9m.
I disagree as Stones skating is going to become an issue like Perry. So Stone is not greater than NylanderMatthews and Stone together would be abolutely disgusting.
Stone > Nylander if he's resigned
Wrong we can not afford the players bonuses to be carried forward. Gardiner is gone anyways so we can keep the rest of the team and with him is Haisney as well.If Stone, Duchene and Gardiner all walk at the end of the year we could afford it.
This is the most important fact about winning a cup. You need a window of opportunity not a short term all in shothow even the best teams don't have more than 10-15% chance of winning the cup. There's too much parity, too much that can go wrong.
