If they somehow miss, or get knocked out first round, is Nill fired?

For sure.

Someone here will try and argue that but its pretty much a guarantee.

Too much money spent during Nill's tenure to miss the playoffs that many times.

If we miss, I'd hope so.

If we get knocked out in the first, I think it depends on the circumstances, but he'll probably have bought himself another year regardless.

Well i do think this is a game where using Khudobin could make sense. You want to keep him involved and i do think he needs to play more than just the 3 back to backs . Still 15 games left . 10-5 or 9-6 games is imho the distribution that makes sense.

Don't overuse Bishop. Khudobin has been very good. Make use of that.

I see both sides. Bishop does need rest like anyone else, but he’s been incredibly hot lately. Last night bought us a lot of leeway in the playoff race, but we still need every point we can get. Bishop gives us the best chance of maximizing that at this moment.

Tomorow i think i'm fine with either. I do think the Hawks tomorow or the Sabres game Tuesdays make most sense for Khudobin . One of the Canucks or Panthers i'd give him two and of course 3 of the 6 back to back games.

Just posting the remaining schedule FYI. Who are the "unknowns?" LOL

2 instances of traveling home for a back to back, which I dislike, including the last game of the season against presumably our biggest competitor if we are fighting for the last spot. 1 B2B on the last Western Swing.

Overall, not too bad, with 11 wild card and under quality teams and two No. 3 division seeds, with the toughest current opponents being the Flames who are buckling a bit and Jets on one of those B2B. Hope we reverse the trend of playing down to our competition. If not, we could be in trouble.

Time will tell.

How is Hanzal not lying down for the team picture? That be a more accurate representation of him!
Let's make a list of the guys in that team photo who haven't scored a goal this season:
Johns
Methot
Honka
Nichushkin
Lovejoy
Oleksiak
L'Eternalwait

Seven dudes without a goal. Of course, I don't really know if L'whatever is even in the photo.

And yet Hanzal has. What a crazy season. How the f*** is this a playoff team?

Everybody who is currently on the roster and on IR is on the picture . L'Esperance is between Radulov and Faksa i think.

Should use Bishop. I love Khudobin but there is no reason to take Bishop out right now. Especially with every game being a massive one

I think the rest for Bishop has been huge for his game this year. Khudobin has been phenomenal this year too, I've been comfortable with who ever has been in net.

In Johns defense he hasn’t played a game compared to Nichushkin who’s played 48.

The rest of the guys on that list don’t surprise me, most haven’t played much. L’Esperance may be the only one on that list to get one.

Captain of the team and a fine AHL player. So no issues here. Not much more than a 4th liner in the NHL but some veterans have to play in the AHL .

Looks like Oleksiak will be in for Fedun. After Fedun's last game though this was pretty predictable

Here we go , switching everything up because of one shitty game . This is not the time to be experimenting .

Oleksiak has played regularly. Experimenting would be randomly throwing in Honka . Its the third pairing its normal to switch up the players playing there regularly because well they aren't that good.

The forward lines though , benn -faksa -comeau have been a great Line and he shouldn’t be switching that up because of one game . Fedun as been awesome too and shouldn’t be taken out because of one game either . Experimenting with L’Esperance centering benn and spezza is what I meant by that . We can’t afford to waist games away by just trying different things when things were already working .
