I don’t get that at all. He sounds like he is just there. To me does not sound enthusiastic at all. I like a little excitement when a goal is scored. Not over the top but a slight change in tone and I just don’t catch that from him. Watching on tv I don’t notice him but on radio I can’t stand him.

Well, you do get it from him. I just watched a couple goals from yesterday just to see and there's emotion and more than a slight change in tone. Overall he gives out a positive vibe and positive voice tone while calling a game.

Man it’s a tight wild card but I do think we get one.
Yeah with Minnesota Selling off, they should fall out, Colorado only added Brassard so they are roughly the same team they were before, which means they likely move up. Nobody else behind us got better, everyone ahead of us got much better but it should make it more likely we get in, then again Hitches roster last season had more points than Montys at the 62game mark and still missed so who knows

As long as their march is better than last years they make it imho . Had an 8 game losing streak in march and overall lost 11 games in march. They just need to stay at least average this season . Lets see if they can manage that. So far they've been average every month overall.

Yeah but last season Benn was more visible all year, then went into hiding, this year it is the inverse, so maybe he'll start showing up in a big way.... Probably not but maybe

Our depth scoring was worse last year imho ( but our big guns better ) and goaltending fell to shit when Bishop went down.

It was actually better last year though, last year at this same point we had 180goals for, we're 23 goals behind this season

Because our big guns played signficantly better and Klingberg didn't miss any time. Beyond that the team was worse imho. Benn is much worse this year , Radulov missed 10 games , Seguin had an awful strech early in the season.

We added a third scoring defenseman and Lindell has gotten better.

Well Janmark had a much better year i forgot about him.

Well, we'll take these numbers and just say, everyone else started scoring and we did not improve one f***ing bit over the offseason, and probably should have done something.

In other News Gurianov recalled today.

So mission accomplished we got out "top 5 talent no question" player to stabilize that 2nd line....

From what I remember he was having a subpar year then went into a useless full Benn domination mode as soon as they were eliminated from playoff contention.

Compared to this season no, to his norms, yes
He had weeks of strong play throughout the season last year.
He started good, went away for a while, came back for a week or two, went away, came back, then after Elimination he actually showed up
This year, he's started bad, continued to be bad, and other than maybe 2games continues to be bad

That's a lot of what's happening. Scoring is up league wide, so if you're producing the same as last year, you're actually seeing a type of deflation happen.

Looks like Gurianov was a regular call up so he's here for the rest of the season.

Hintz-Seguin-Radulov
Cogliano-Faksa-Comeau
Janmark-Spezza-Gurianov
Nichushkin-Dickinson-Ritchie

... when Benn's back:

Hintz-Seguin-Radulov
Benn-Faksa-Comeau
Colgiano-Spezza-Gurianov
Janmark-Dickinson-Ritchie

Maybe they'll stick with Hintz at center though. They don't seem to like Spezza at center anymore. Don't blame them.

Janmark-Seguin-Radulov
Cogliano(Benn)-Hintz-Gurianov
Janmark(Cogliano)-Faksa-Comeau
Nichushkin(Janmark)-Dickinson-Spezza

I don't think Spezza should still Center any line higher than the fourth. He's not very good anymore outside the powerplay imho. He's basically now a powerplay specialist that is also very good at taking draws.

I can't wait for Zuccarello to come back. Really don't wanna watch this boring team without him anymore even though they're trying to draw in my interest with the Gurianov call up but I'd rather watch Zucc play with him sooo

And by the end of the season if everything goes right with recovery times and everyone stays healthy, it should look like this:

Zuccarello-Seguin-Radulov
Benn-Faksa-Hintz
Cogliano-Spezza-Gurianov/Pitlick
Comeau-Dickinson-Janmark
Ritchie, Val

I guess I could live with that, and mix the top 6 if needed to not load up the top line completely

Hmmmm ... that's a fun exercise. I'll go with:

Gurianov/Janmark-Seguin-Radulov
Benn-Hintz-Zuccarello
Comeau-Faksa-Pitlick
Cogliano-Dickinson-Spezza
Scratched: Janmark/Gurianov, Ritchie, Nichushkin

Oh I completely forgot about Janmark oops. Depending on if Gurianov starts scoring or not I'd say either he or Pitlick will be the extra scratch. Maybe Janmark I suppose

So they can't send Gurianov down or something? I figured that's what they would do until I saw your post

Full, healthy roster?

What I want:
Zuccarello - Seguin - Hintz
Benn - Spezza - Radulov
Janmark - Faksa - Gurianov
Cogliano - Dickinson - Pitlick
Comeau, Ritchie, Nichushkin

But I doubt we ever see that. Gurianov probably sits, Spezza stays in the bottom 6, Comeau won’t be sitting.

Spezza can't Center a second line anymore . He's still good on the powerplay but no way can he play more than 10-12 minutes and still be good.

If it was pure fantasy what you want .... I think I'd go:

Zuccarello-Seguin-Radulov
Benn-Hintz-Gurianov
Cogliano-Faksa-Pitlick
Janmark-Dickinson-Spezza

Scratch: Comeau, Nichushkin, Ritchie
