SOG: 12-5 Comets. This is a rinse and repeat for the Comets. They usually open up the game with a strong first period and outshoot their opponent. The 2nd period they completely turn around and are outplayed by their opponent leaving the 3rd to be a back and forth.

Comets are 11-4-2-0 when scoring first.

When trailing after 1 Charlotte is 3-2.
Contrast that with the Comets, who are winless when trailing after the first.

Thus, this one is totally up in the air right now.

Sunday Bancks played in his 500th professional game. 498 in the AHL and 2 in the NHL.

Tonight Archi is playing in his 499 pro game.

Tonigh Sifers is playing in his 799th pro game.

So Friday in Springfield some milestones will be set:
- 500 career AHL games for Bancks.
- 800 pro games by Sifers
- 500 pro games by Archi

Charlotte back in. Gaunce skates it out, but is too slow to get to the net.

Boucher misse the net, gets it again and shoots , it's saved and the rebound is smothered. The monster shot we became used to has left him since he was injured, spent time in Vancouver upon his recovery, then returned. Shot usually misses the net.

Checkers get 2 great chances shorthanded.

Arseneau hitting everything. Could end up in the box if not careful.

MacEwen slammed by McKeown. Hope Arseneau isn't waking a sleeping giant in his attempt to rev up the Comets.

Demko with a stop on a shot that got through a double screen.

Demko another stop off the edge of the net, puck goes behind the net and they score as it's centered and Brisebois deflected it up in the air behind the net. It came down, hit the post, Demko's back, and in. What a ****** goal!!
