Boucher gives one away and the Crunch break in and a Penalty Shot is awarded. Conacher scores and it's 3-2 Comets. This during a Comets PP. 2 shorthanded uneven man rushes by the Crunch and a Penalty Shot goal while short handed. Here they come again.

Comet finally get a chance and score but, the net was off the post so it doesn't count.

3-0 lead. Let up for a second, gave up a goal and since then everything has gone to ****.

This kind of game is a hallmark of the Comets/Crunch matchups since the Comets came into the league. No lead is ever safe. Both teams blow leads and lose. both teams blow leads and then come back and eke out a win. Both teams have blowout win/losses.

Boucher hurt and down on all fours. Being helped off the ice and putting no weight on his right leg.

He is the second Comet to leave the game. Joins Sautner and the Comets are two men down. 5D and 11 forwards. Lots of jockeying to take place now.

Great pass from Lind and Aresneau is in front alone and missed. They come back and Lind misses an open net.

Conacher whining to the refs arguing the Comets 4th goal for being offsides. He made the same whine after it was scored before the ensuing faceoff. He was told it's a goal. Now he's whining again. He should be thankful for the PS which the Comets should have been whining about. There has yet to be an explanation for why he was awarded it in the first place.

There is a change on the Comets 3rd goal. Indeed it was Archi who tipped in the goal. He breaks Alex Grenier's franchise record for most career goals scored by a Comet.

Sifers' goal was his first goal in 590 days. A bit of a weird description of his goal drought.

Martel was given a game misconduct for his efforts at the end of the period with McEneny.

Sifers throws it into the crowd as the Comets return to full strength. Puts his hand over his face as he knows he erred big time. Wanted to hit the glass, and send it up to Jasek coming out of the box, but airmailed it. Comets to the PK again!

Archi dives out on his belly and scoresall the way down the ice from the slot.

It won't count. MacEwen is called for hifgh sticking. 4 minutes. if the Comets can win this one it will be a miracle. 2 men down for 44 seconds. They score after some great plays by the Comets. The 5 on 3 had ended and now it's only a 2 minute penalty for MacEwen.

7 minutes left and the Comets trying to kill another and hold onto the one-goal lead.
