Healthy lineup:

Lundestrom-Getzlaf-Rakell
Comtois-Henrique-Kase
Silfverberg-Kesler-Sherwood
Ritchie-Rowney-Eaves

Hopefully Perry sits the year and trains to come back rejuvenated next year. Trade at least one of Cogliano or Silfverberg.

They've indicated that they want Lundestrom playing center and will move Henrique over to accommodate if need be.

Why the hell would we waive Street and not Gibbons?
Street has 2 goals, three assists, and is even plus/minus. Gibbons has 0 goals, 0 assists, and is -3 plus/minus. Obviously Gibbons is the better player. Well, he is the faster player, and maybe that is more important in our new 'system'. But not only is the question why Street instead of Gibbons, but also why Street instead of Blandisi?

If Street goes down that leaves us with 12 forwards, including Ritchie who is injured but not on IR. Does this mean that someone is coming up from San Diego? or Ritchie is coming back? or someone else is coming back? Or we are just going to skate with fewer players because it doesn't seem to matter what we do right now and by having fewer players the team can save a few bucks?

Remember when Eaves was due back after 5 - 10 games. It has been 13 and he is nowhere in sight. But with another year on his contract after this year we know that he will not retire.
Christ, he has another year on his contract after this one? My God, how many injured 33+ year olds can we possibly have on multi-year deals.
