He’s young and has a bunch of time to mature, but he doesn’t strike me as a captain.

He may not throw huge hits or drop the gloves (yet)but he’s just plays such a smart , two way game and has that calm collective personality , I can’t see him not being captain in 5 or 6 years . You never know though . Dellandrea could but he might not even be on the team for another 3 or 4 years and than has to at least play a few years before he would earn it . Captaincy will likely have changed by than.

Hey Riley Tufte scored back on January 12th. 9 points in 22 games now to be fair, I only see good things about him on Twitter from Minnesota-Duluth fans. Lot of them are very confident he will be a great NHL top 6 player. Maybe just a guy that needs some time? I wish Nill would stop drafting players that need a ton of time to develop though

For a rosterspot ? No they don't . Currently 14 forwards and 7 defenseman with both Hintz and Gurianov up . Pitlick and Val aren't on IR .

Stars have three guys on IR and those are longshots to come back.

What a weird (but great) season he is having. To start the year he was scoring goals like crazy and getting no assists. Now he’s putting up assists like crazy but the goal scoring has dried up, by his standards. Glad to see that we have a well rounded prospect.
