One further note.

1st star of the game? Adirondack call up John Edwardh, with 2 goals on the night.

ECHL'rs aren't so bad.

Important to note that Edwardh is on an AHL contract with Binghamton and that these were his first two AHL goals.

Conor Riley scored his first AHL goal after being shifted from F to D in his second game with the team.

Schmelzer is an ECHL guy getting his first AHL season in.

Cam Johnson was in Adirondack until Lack got injured and was fantastic tonight.

Brian Ward is another Adirondack guy who has been making the scoresheet lately.

Tariq Hammond has also seen ice with the Thunder this season. He is a project with his reconstructed ankle.

Should also mention that Adirondack is solely affiliated with NJD/Binghamton this season after sharing the affiliation with TBL/Syracuse and CGY/Stockton prior to this season.

Despite this Adirondack has loaned players to Stockton, Providence, and even loaned a G to tonight's opponent Utica today. Although Binghamton's current backup G Charles Williams is on loan from North division Manchester who is fighting Adirondack for a playoff spot.

I guess it really is all about development in the minors.

Binghamton needs to go on a six game winning streak to get back into serious playoff contention according to Lippolis.

Really nice to see McLeod putting up points. Would be a boost to the team if he can become a legitimate 3rd line center or RW in the next year or 2.
How is his game looking for those that watch him? I've only seen clips.

Nobody really. Studenic didn't play so basically just McLeod at this point.

Yep, so the "it's about development " argument goes out the window

ECHL players can win a game or two but over the long haul they won't win much.

Ray really has to bring in AHL vets next season so the incoming legit prospects can learn to play pro hockey in a winning environment

Can anyone help, please? I’m looking for AHL game log information but there doesn’t seem to be any on the official Binghamton website. I checked elite prospects and hockeydb as well with no luck.

Good AHL vets that actually score goals
Tangradi and Ramage are the only decent players listed.

Lack and Gruba stink
Gabriel is a goon
Lappin and Pietila. Unfortuneately they have had dissapointing seasons. More notably Lappin, but that could be due to playing with Pietila.

He plays an unconventional style. Makes moves and plays that you don't expect, both in a good and bad way. He puts his teammates offside like 3 times per game because he makes some weird moves on the blueline, but sometimes it fools the opposition and he can use his speed and size to take advantage. Sometimes it makes you shake your head and think "what the hell are you thinking kid?", though . It could be him just figuring out what works at this level. Was inconsistent first part of the season but has put up a solid stretch lately, so hopefully he can find some consistency now. (8 Points in first 20 games, 11 in last 11.)
When he's on his game he can drive the play and control the puck well. Gaining the zone and dish it off to his team mates. Has been getting more physically involved in the play lately, laying out some big hits and getting involved more in board battles etc, which is nice to see. I feel like that gets the rest of his game going when he plays like that.

All in all, I find it hard to wrap my head around him as a player and say what he is and what he's going to become. He has the tools to be a good player, but he still feels somewhat raw. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.

I think it would be best for his development to stay down in bing for the rest of the year and be one of the go-to guys there. Play big minutes, all situations and figure stuff out.
