Beating out the Blues is obviously priority #1 but taking over the first wildcard spot could be big as well. The Avs matchup much better against the Knights than the Preds, and if the previous games are any indication, a playoff series against Vegas would be incredible hockey to watch.

Vegas might be ripe for a letdown after their regular season and the Preds just have the Avs number.

Avs have lost their last 10 games against Nashville going back to the end of 2015-16. They only have one OT point against them in that time.

If we're judging just on previous games I fancy our chances against the preds more than I do against Flower.

The Colorado Avalanche and St. Louis Blues are losing their way into the playoffs..... Unbelievable. I´m sure Dallas is stupidly annoyed.

Fortunately, both play against each other on Saturday so the outcome may not be spoiled by others.

Meanwhile the Nashville Predators are resting their A-Team and will have fun watching our game against the Blues and looking forward to their prey in Round 1.....
