Eh it's sort of like the NCAA tournament play-in games, where they call it 'the first round' for marketing but honestly they're created play-in games. Just like these new WC games. And ironically if there was one WC these would both be play-in games anyway cause the Orioles/Jays and Mets/Giants both finished with the same record.
