I agree he will be in our top 4 but as long as he plays 80% of the season in AHL. Don't. rush. him.

In a perfect world he actually plays another year and a half in the AHL too.

He is what 3 years younger? Almost identical in term of height and weight.
Almost the same type of player.

I find them to be pretty equal from the few time i was able to watch Lajoie.

Lajoie is impressive. It's not a kock on Wolanin but rather praise for Lajoie.

Wolanin is a tad better offensively, and Lajoie better defensively imo.

I'm not watching any preseason games this year (not due to a boycott or anything, I just don't think preseason hockey is worth a damn), but if this kid is as good as a lot of people are suggesting, it'll be interesting to see if this org is willing to find an NHL roster spot for him at the expense of sending Harpur's 1-way salary to the AHL.

I must admit that Lajoie has progressed really nicely. I know it’s really not ideal to lean on young and inexperienced players that much but that’s what happens when you force a full rebuild.

I feel like Lajoie-Chabot IQ and talent would allow them to « survive »
