Claritin is a banned substance? Really? If so that's ridiculous!

I'm happy for Bergy and all our boys. But I still dispise all of Canada. So it'll be nice to see our players play for the Bruins now. And I think its time for all of Canada to go back hating us. I've missed it.

Definitely good people.

Congratulations to Canada!

Thanks sarge, but I guess not everyone likes Canada.

Holy crap, I thought you were kidding. That's beyond embarrassing. Kessel I could see, but Karlsson & Price? That's a stupid as all the sites showing a celebration picture with PK on their front page.

At least Selanne earned his.

You could argue that Selänne wasn't the MVP either. Didn't show up for the semi final. Rask was argusbly the MVP of Finland, so can't see how Selänne was that of the entire tournament. That said, no reason to get upset over these selections. Selänne deserves recognition for his great career

@gwestlake12: Just got a call from #SheaWeber and #PatriceBergeron ... They told me Canada wants three medals. I agree with them. Congrats @HockeyCanada

This is great! Bergy is the best!

Bäckström has taken the same dose every day for seven years, treading on the right side of the allowed dosage. The B test will probably show that he's below 150 and not at 190 or whatever. Shame he couldn't play, because that line deserved to prove themselves again.

I'll never understand how one player can be crowned the best at his position but not make the all star team. If you think Price was the best goalie, why have Lundqvist in the AST? Because he had to do more to prove himself? This seems to be more of a rule than an exception in sports...

Bäckström's hearing was "scheduled" 2 hours 40 min or something before puck drop, Bäckström and the team informed just before it. IIHF said throughout that he was going to play. IOC is for amateurism, it shows. Affected the whole team, obviously, so stupid with the biggest game of some of these guys's careers.

NHL doesn't even care because the wffect is minuscule.

Yeah **** them, are they going to start banning energy drinks too? I feel bad for Backstrom.

Time to turn the page and hate what's important. Canadiens with an 'e' !

Thanks Wally...and yes, it's time to take care of the other Canadiens.

Shouldn't any assigned blame go to the Swedish doctor(s) / medical staff ?

Wonder if Price had to make more than 2 hard saves in the past two games.

All the teams' doctors had a meeting beforehand where they ageeed that taking one pill a day shouldn't have any effect or result in anything like this. Two players per team and game were tested, so they could probably have tested two other Swedes and, say, two different Canadians, than they did, and if that Canadian had an allergy and took this medicine, it would've resulted in a Canadian player being banned from playing and Nicklas playing. What I object the most to is that they informed the Swedes 2 1/2 hour before the ****ing game. Imagine Bruins playing game 7 of the SCF and 2 hours before the game, during warmup, Bergeron or Chara has to leave for a hearing, and then can't play the game. Imagine the impact.

Oh wait, it doesn't. Because there isn't an external organisation that has no clue about hockey telling them what they can and cannot have in their system, and at what levels, changing it every now and again. It just sucks.

No wonder he can score 15 goals in 15 seconds!

And refers to a stick straight through his upper arm as a splinter. :)
One game I watched, those two commercials were both literally in every commercial break, and took up 50% of the commercial time.

Turned into a Rick Rolling kind of thing where you're like "Hah, joke's on them, I'm actually starting to like this commercial.", then "Okay, I don't like it anymore", over and over.

Ouch. Boustedt said something along the lines of "They waited with giving us the information intentionally to get more attention. It also helps that it's a famous hockey player and not someone who rides a sled."
A bit harsh, though IOC are still to determine/announce why it took 72 hours, which is three times longer than they say it should've taken.

Yes,that!

I kind of agree with you- I know if I was Chara or Krejci I'd be happy for the others, but feel a bit bummed. What Boston SHOULD do is call all of them out to center ice and treat them ALL as what they are WINNERS and acknowledge it that way....they could do a montage. I know it sounds so 8 year old soccerish where everyone gets a trophy but to bad. Everyone knows what happened anyways.
