When I saw the thread about this on the main boards, my reaction was to wonder why Greg Wyshynski would have allowed such garbage to be published on his site. Turns out he wrote it...all respect lost. I'm never giving Puck Daddy a page hit again.

If the caps made this playoffs and got all the calls the Pens did, even with our current roster, there's a very real chance they go far.

It's unbelievable how the Pens just get every single call. Shift after they made it 2-0, a BJ player is cross checked from behind into the boards, clear penalty, they don't call it then 5 seconds later Pit gets a PP.

It's also so fun watching them get outworked against inferior opponents every single year in the playoffs. You could say they've been even worse than the Caps in the playoffs since they won the Cup, with a much better roster.

He's been good this year. He was arguably the worst starting goalie in the league last year and was worse than 2014 version of Holtby the year prior. Good for him. But it's a classic case of what have you done for me lately. Lets see how he does next year. Oh, and Holtby has a higher career save percentage as well, even including Varly's monster year.
