Hmm I wonder if he'll get as big as Nichushkin?
I wonder if Nichushkin will get as big as Krutov.
If he isn't at least willing to put some realistic thought behind what each GM's motivations and patterns are, he probably shouldn't be doing mock drafts for NHL.com.
At the end of the day I just feel like you need at least 1, preferably 2, elite talents to drive the offense. I don't see what the big issue with that is.
More than anything Im just interested to see where we're picking at the draft. I feel like it could be anywhere from around 6th-20th. I dont think the team is as bad as its been lately and could still make the playoffs, but that is no easy task at this point.
Does Ho Sang has a reputation for making bad turn overs?
Saw his game today and thought he turned the puck over many times.
Especially near the end of 3rd
turned the puck over many times (mostly, he tried to do too much which ended up going nowhere)
which lead to many (a few) scoring chances for North Bay
which ultimately lead to Liberati's game tying goal...

Never been fond of ISS rankings. Too much not to like for me.
Don't like Perlini, Virtanen or Ho-Sang in the top 10.
I can accept Jake, but not Perlini or Ho-Sang.
Still think Ehlers is too low, I know Draisaitl has fallen, but NOT out of the top 10, I mean come on....
Milano also too high for me, and same with Goldobin.
Agreed with all of what you just said.
Barbashev, moreso Pastrnak should be quite a bit higher. Also, where the heck is Honka/Fiala?

6'5" dman on the Plymouth Whalers. Brother to the goalie on Carolina - Justin Peters.Who's this Alex Peters dude who's rising so much?
6'5" dman on the Plymouth Whalers. Brother to the goalie on Carolina - Justin Peters.
Doesn't have eye popping stats, but I remember the debate on drafting non 0.5ppg defensman and he only has 7 points this year.
What is weird though is that I've been tracking (through game sheets) 6'6" defensman from the Prince George Cougars. Last year I couldn't understand why teams were so high on him and why he was showing up in top 60 lists. He only had 15 points in 52 games, well below the 0.5ppg threshold, but this year he has 15 goals and 36 points in 54 games to go with 100+ PIMS. Sometimes these bigger, ganglier guys just need that extra year of development.
Of course Detroit drafted McNulty.

How would you compare him to Dillon Heatherington from last year?
Shea Weber had a similar development curve, I believe. While I wouldn't want to take a guy like that in the first round(see: Morin), I'm not entirely opposed to taking a guy like that in the late rounds. Although I have no idea what it is in those kinds of players that finally makes them "click"
