Just a casual 24 minute +5 night for Nurse.

Sure someone complained when he iced the puck that one time though and ignored the rest of a solid game he played. Bear was excellent as well.

He and Nurse have really stepped up their play the past 10 games and are this team's top pairing.

The Kassian/Tkachuck situation definitely movitivated the Oilers. I know you weren't trying to make this point but it's true.

Looks like the Flames blew their load in that Oilers game. Shut out by Montreal, needed a shootout to beat the Leafs 2-1, and now losing 3-0 in the 3rd against Ottawa.

It led to transition offence the other way for us where Bear didn’t pick up points, but was the reason the transition from the defensive zone to up ice on the breakout and out.

Next ultimate test, actually playing well after a "really" long break. That seriously never happens with this team. Even in 16/17 they played like a bunch of idiots after their bye week.
