Why ****ing call up Kinkaid if you don't start him? **** off Pete.

Exactly. What the hell is he thinking? Back to back games, Give Cory a damn break already and let Kinky get his first NHL start and get a feel for the league already. He seems more than capable of holding his own on this mediocre team. Cory played well tonight but just change it up a bit. Who knows what could happen.

I don't even hate Bernier that much anymore.

DONEius ZuBUST is even worse than Bernier last year.

Anyone really wanna defend this guy? Does anyone think he's bouncing back still? LOL.

If he is on the third line or even fourth, it's not a big deal. It's tough to see DeBoer continually put him on offensive lines and him drag them down.

If anything, sending him down to the fourth line will force him to earn his spot, and maybe show some life.

One surprise ositive to take away from this game:
Two of the three goals had Bernier standing/screening in front. For the first Ryder and the Zidlicky goal.

Another positive:
Ryder looked like boss on those two goals, had a twinge of the other 17 with the shot and his positioning on the second goal putting that crazy ass Jagr pass to net.
Larsson looks better each game, please consider him a regular now.

Other than that, this game was a total sludge. Our forward core (with their current injury depletion...) is pathetic. Too old and slow. The only guys generating anything for most of the 5v5 game were the guys with speed (Yayo, Brunner, Rutuu [surpsingly looked fast out there, eventhough he's not really fast at all, maybe they were playing easy on him.]).

Zubrus didn't look as bad today, but he's not generating anything and neither is Elias. He was particularly horrid on the PP they had, not connecting with any passes, i think twice he shanked the pass.

The end flurry of goals totally skews how the rest of the 57 minutes were played. I know the Blues are awesome right now, but that game was painful to sit through.

One more year left. Yay?

Zubrus is a bigger drain on this team than Salvador is.

I wish Lou never would have re signed this piece of cow ****. I predicted we would all HATE it if he was re signed too. It's looking very ugly.

Zubrus is a healthy scratch on most teams. Zubrus is actually retired on most teams. His cap hit is too much, and his length is about 2 years too long.

I thought at the time someone else would have given him this contract if he went to UFA. Now I'm not really sure anyone would have.

What this tells me is that Pete is a moron for not having anyone stand in front of the Allen until the game was basically out of reach.

Ryder's first goal was essentially a re-do of a shot that Allen made a glove save on earlier. This time he got it a little bit higher. I wish he could teach Jake that shot.

To bad Jagr and Ryder are Rw. He's always looking to pass. I wish he could shoot more. If Ryder was on that line some passes could atleast get on net. Zubrus has not worked.

Don't know what the heck DeBo is thinking, because he seems to think that lumping all the big/slow forwards together on one line is the way to go: Jagr,Zajac,Zubrus. Heck Zubrus and Jagr at least have age excuses, i dont' know what Zajac has these days.

One reason why Jagr hasn't been generating much is because he is getting covered quickly, and he can't blow by anybody as he is a geezer...unfortunately no one on his line is fast enough to take the reigns that would allow him to come in as a trailer. By the time they get the puck to the blue line the other team has already swarmed the slow, lumbering puck carrier of that line [insert your favorite 1st liner]

Was in class. Can I get the line and short of it.

Was Cory that bad (pulled again)
What was up with the final 3 minutes
Did they wake up or start getting lucky

Cory didn't do anything particularly wrong, IMO. Tarasenko goal was nice. They had a PP goal which basically Cory didn't have much to say. I think Severson slightlylost his marking and Steen got the quick release in. Forget the other goal, but Cory was "OK".

I think they put Kinkaid in because they want to get free warmup time for him. THe game was considered wayyy over at 3-0. Then, randomally, the devils picked up some offense for a tease us fans as usual.
