We made it a one goal game, and almost tied it. It was indeed comical because of how inept we were for literally 87 minutes of this game.

I thought the Devils played a pretty solid 1st, and were the better team, play-wise obviously. Once they went down by two, they looked lifeless. And if they couldn't score when they were playing well, then I sure as hell didn't think they were scoring when they weren't.

This is why it's impossible to have much confidence in the staff putting players in the best position to win. Everyone and their grandmother saw how much better the fourth line was with Gionta at wing.
