for all the criticism, LACC has delivered in my mind. very solid leaderboard. interesting how none of these guys at the top were complaining about the course as far as i know. even early on

It's mostly fans. I get it though, they've been conditioned that the US Open needs to be arbitrarily unforgiving boring golf where players are lucky to make par any single day. The actual battles between golfers is second.

That said, I agree. Some great golf, anyone mad because of the scores is missing out.
