I love the look of LACC, it's the type of course I usually really enjoy watching.
If Scottie's putting is any better than being dead last in the field, he ought to win by a half dozen. Should be fun to see if that happens. I keep thinking 'this is the week' for the floodgates to open, but I've begun to grow concerned.

If this marine layer is going to persist the USGA better start working its magic tomorrow. I do not watch US Open's to see people shooting 62's and 63's. 
Fowler has a 3 footer to clean up for 62, US Open record round..

Pretty amazing golf by Schauffele and Fowler, definitely was not expecting to see those types of rounds for this course.
McIlroy starts the day off with 380 and 350 yard drives on 1 and 2, the longest of the day on both holes

Data Golf has Wyndham Clark as the 12th best player in the world. He's no bum.
Needless to say, we (meaning me) are very concerned about Big Brooks's showing today. I suspect the soft conditions have led him to forget that this is actually a major.
