How about SHOOTING THE f***ING PUCK?!?! And if you’re going to pass, how about not telegraphing it? Christ. Maybe the 3rd man (Zibanejad here) should have his head out of his ass and realize that Marchand is behind him and stick with him to prevent a breakaway from happening. Common sense stuff.

Would also be nice if Georgiev could make a save. It’s not like you blame him there but he got scored on seemingly on each of Boston’s only high danger chances. He’s been brutal all season. He’s regressed honestly. Team is playing better D and limiting chances better than they have his whole career and he looks the worst he even has.

At what point can we just put the young kids on PP1 ? It’s tiring. It’s approaching Torts power play level of hilarity at this point
I was told they need to earn it. Can't take minutes away from legends like Kreider and Buchnevich

Completly outclassed after the first so we did a good job hanging around to get 1 point.
Kakko was the best forward, the 4th line was excellent, all the D were good, especially Fox. Trouba had a good game but he makes 1 absolutely terrible play per game, and more often than not the puck ends up in our net because of it. Kreider had some good moments.
Our big names/top players just aren't getting it done on the scoreboard. 2 goals in the last 6 periods

Anyone blaming the goalie for giving up a breakaway goal in that situation is an idiot. Blame Buch, blame Mika, blame the Space Jam monsters for stealing his powers and lobotomizing his brain. The team’s 2 goal scorers were f***ing Rooney and Gauthier, let that sink in.
Dude, a goalie has to make a save like that. We are in a scoring slump and need wins. This dude can't make break away saves for his life

What good game? He made a handful of saves that were slightly better than average. Got completely clowned on goals 2 and 3. Gave up a garbage would be goal on the goal that hit the bar and line and had to be reviewed. Complete AHL level goaltender and this was one of his better games this season.

You can't be serious? Goal 2 the guy was all alone in front and goal 3 was a breakaway. He made a number of good saves and had a good game.

Happy Gauthier got his first. Still think he should be playing up higher in the lineup. The kid knows his way around the net and isn’t shy about shooting

This is a bad hockey team.

Buchnevich making that pass was obviously the correct play...by a lot. McAvoy just made a great play and Mika came in too deep. Buch shooting would have been an awful decision.
It really wasn't. McAvoy and Bergeron had their sticks in the passing lane.

I come to this forum here and there over the past 12 years but one thing that never fails is Snowblind being up to his usual ways.

So now we should win games with only couple of goals scored? I mean, Geo wasn't perfect but I wouldn't blame it on him. Our offense sucked today. Where was our 1st and 2st line?

Um did you not see all the great saves Rask made? But the offense was bad because Rask played a great game? The offense was fine. They got a lot of shots and a lot of good shots. Rask was great.

That's on Zibanejad, tbh. Can't pinch there.

Buch had no good shot option there either, so the blame on him is hilarious.

Disagree. OT is all about taking advantage of any odd man situation you get. He was playing it high to make it a 3-2, that's a good risk in my book. I don't think he - or anyone - expected such a blatant turnover to go back the other way.

Shooting is never an awful decision. The wrong decision? Sure, sometimes. Never an awful decision.

If this wasn't a weird Covid year, Quinn would be on the way out.

He's doing just enough to get by.

Ah the classic we lost so blame Quinn schtick.

How dare Quinn not finish on that breakway.
How dare Quinn not finish on the back door.
How dare Quinn not finish an empty net.
How dare Quinn fall in the corner and lose his man.

It was an ill-advised pass by Buch, but it's on Mika for not staying back and covering defensively.
