He's overrated... If it were me I'd trade the guy that makes more money, is older, and coming off knee surgery. But what do I know. He wasn't that great before he got injured last year either.

He's more versatile though-can play either side.

Problem is he is getting older, has had knee surgery and his style of game takes a lot out of a Dman.

Looking at the Krejci video I'm going for "precautionary" verses "injured and out for a while."

Exactly, how many more good years are we going to get from him? I'd say Boychuk has more good years left than Seids. He just isn't what he was when we won the cup.

Pastrnak has played better than Spooner.

In these kind of grind it out kind of games, Spooner has not excelled. It's those open ice , no defense islanders kind of hockey he excels in

Keep Pastrnak for the first 9 games

I'm glad some people are seeing what I have so far. When it is NHL calibre players, Pastrnak has been better than Spooner. His play away from the puck and along the boards has been stronger and I also hope he gets his 9 games.

Yeah will be sad when we see boychuk made him better and not vice versa

Did they ever really pair up? I thought that pairing always struggled. I think it came down to which guy could be moved.

Let's put it this way, I thought Hamilton was already our 2, but he'll need to be a 1B this spring IMO.

What the hell is wrong with Loui? Is he underconditoned or injured? He is just beyond slow and lazy.

This is the Loui you will be seeing and have been seeing since he got here. No more excuses, he's playing just like he had been last year. Him and Lucic have nothing. Him and Krejci have nothing. What's the point of keeping him around? He should have been dealt instead of Boychuk.

That's my opening night lineup

Ps I know 43 will be in there.

I like it fine. probably won't happen on defense. So we know who your 7th Dman is-who would your 13th be?

No they haven't.. Just saying one I think is underrated the other maybe a tad bit overrated.

Oh no objection from me-my guess is they want Seids for other reasons and Seids isn't getting more expensive at the end of the season-Boychuk is (and I bet Chia crunched the numbers and realized Boychuk wasn't going to fit in the cap and get a fair salary increase and we would lose-he was getting something in return now when he has some time to improve and some picks to improve with if needed).

This lineup is almost too good to be true, Spooner AND Pastrnak!? Do you think hockey is suppose to be entertaining or something?

Lil bit...

Your line up is almost nailed on, though you know which guy I'm removing and with the way 44 is skating 43 needs to play with him or we're looking at 09 Carolina

Loved the way Pastrnak and Spooner played tonight. Watching Gagne and Campbell is gonna suck.

Very. He and Spooner give this team a completely different and exciting look.

Agreed. I would keep Spooner and Pastrnak over both Fraser and Gagne. The kids didn't score in the shootout but they looked way better than most of the Bruins attempts last year.

That's the only way I can rationalize it, Krug and Hamilton will get paid.

Not sure if I like him less w Bartkowski or the right side...worked vs Vancouver..awful vs Chicago. Awful this preseason.

He was injured against Chicago.

He hasn't played in almost a year. He has a lot of rust. He will get better but I would like to see him with Dougie again (I liked Seids and Dougie together) but who does Chara get to babysit?
