Nice to see Erne trying to throw some hits.

The good news is the Wings are still in this game in spite of how much they've been outclassed.

It's hilarious watching the defenseman gaining possession of the puck and have absolutely no options and no one working to give their teammate an option.

Is AA gonna show up sometime soon? It's been awhile now.

You're right, he's been invisible, but might as well call out the entire team. Nobody is doing anything offensively. It is so hard to watch this mess. Larkin and Mantha have been equally as useless as AA today.

When we play pond hockey & open it up a bit, we don't look near as bad b/c of our team speed. When we try to play defensive hockey, we look bad on offense & defense & stifles the little bit of creativity our roster has. Not that pond hockey wins championships, it doesn't & also sets a bad example (TML), but at least its a bit more entertaining & the players enjoy it more while giving them more incentive to try to earn a bigger contract. The games are usually a lot closer as well.

I'm not mad at all no matter what happens this season because we all knew we won't win many games. But one thing that we need to evolve out of over time is our timid and pressure-less d-zone play. Watching the oilers feed, the commentators keep mentiong we have close to the most blocked shots in the league. Thats because all our system really allows is getting hemmed in the d-zone and endure a constant shooting gallery. We make it far too easy for our opponents to reach pucks first and move it around unscathed.

Our game plan seems to be, get hemmed in, hope to the skies they don't score and hope to cash in on our very few chances we get a game. Again, I'm not an angry fan, but I'm hoping that at some point someone within our organization will recognize this and fix it when the time comes. We have to build a solid foundation of smart play at some point.

Well we can't just keep scoring 1 and can't keep giving up 5. So something's gotta give.
