I may be in the minority here, but last night the Rangers did not look out of place on a sheet of ice with one of the best teams in the league.

That is with an atrocious defence that had poor performances by all four Vets and a top like that was MIA all game.

Will every night be like that, most likely not, but we played a damn good game and if both Vesey and Zuucs finish on any one of their multiple chances we get a point at least.

And let me add that while I do enjoy Zuccs as a player, someone needs to smack the piss out of him and tell him stop over passing

In this situation with Hayes on his left side he thought it would be better to try to outplay a very good goaltender, and a better chance of scoring by passing to Hayes. He also had four shots on goal, no need to worry about that.

It's interesting that MSG put this video out. We've heard how vocal Quinn is, and during the game I remember thinking how I wish we could hear what's going on behind the scenes...and what do you know!

I feel like the organization is trying to communicate with the fans (eg. the rebuild letter, showing us how Quinn has been vocal and not just telling us through articles), and it's been pretty cool. I have to respect the way they're dealing with this especially being a big market team.

Theoretically, if we got rid of all 4 big contracts on the blueline? ADA+Claesson plus a couple of waiver pickups. It would make our blueline worse in some areas but better in others.

Because Claesson has played 250 games in the AHL before playing 120 in the NHL.
